First, thanks for help i got from this newsgroup : it allowed me to built
this first paris XP rig without fighting much.
So now, if someguys are looking for information to upgrade, or start, here
are my two cents :

after a few days of use, no crash. For sure, it's easyer to make cubase
running , cause you don't have to read forums and parisfaq. but if you plan
to use paris, it can work almost like every DAW.

SO :

one MEC, no modules, one EDS, C16classic.

Hardware :
- MSI neo2 platinium (nforce3ultra chipset). ==> this one is a goooood mobo
for audio apps.
- athlon 64+,
- AGP nvidia (MX440) graphic
- one 7200 rpm IDE drive, alone on his controller.
- another card (Maudio audiophile)
- the EDS was first sharing IRQ 19 with graphic nvidia app, it was running,
but i put it on a non shared IRQ anyway.

Software :
- windows2000 sp4 last directX version, just audio app.
- paris 30 and FX subsystem installed direct under C:\
- wave bundle (C:\program file etc)
- SIR and blockfish dll under C: not wrapped for the moment

some little things to fix :

- it does'nt like blockfish comp : i had a 'diskslow error' with only 5
tracks (!!) at the moment i turn it on. i increaseed IO @ 96K and cache @ 40
Mb and it was OK, but blockfish is looks looks a no no
- when i quit paris, it close normally, but paris.exe still run. The system
does not freeze and is usable, until i try to kill paris, or to reboot
normally : on/off reboot required. It does not occur if i quit paris
without having worked on a project.
- TP queue error if i turn jog when paris is playing : just a "close / open"
project is required in that case.

I have no opinion for the moment about the way it sounds, in comparaison
with standard native DAW, but i fell good with it. CPU and memory are not
stressed (but the projects are very light for the moment) even with 4 SIR
running. good !
