HI,
i have problem while i'm trying to start Paris.
During the opening, when Paris engine initializing VST effect i got "error in initializing Paris Engine.An unexpected engine error occured" and only i can do is press OK, then nothing happens...
hope anyone can help.... Very Happy

Hmm, Mac or PC? Could a bad VST plugin be causing the problem?

Test by eliminating your VST plugins. PARIS can be pretty persistent in remembering the VST plugin folder, so make a new folder on your desktop, drag all the plugins from your VST Plugins folder into it, and see if the problem persists.

By the way - if you have a chance to post the exact error code, once we've solved it I'll add it to the wiki so we've got a documented solution if others run into the same error.

thanks for trying to help, i removed all VST and didn't work. Maybe you have some other solution on your mind or you know someone else who could help...by the way what would happen if i removed Paris software, do i still have someone to contact to ,about authorization.

Have you removed the VST folder pointer from the config file?
