1. Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever
it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake
complicated immigration reform proposals.
2. Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa
holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates
U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of
9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
3. No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are
in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking
our laws.
4. No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed
immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But
taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals,
clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
5. End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know
their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the
U.S. illegally will remain strong.
6. Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent
and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million
more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation.
This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the
same rules and waiting periods.
Makes sense to me. Sounds legal and fair. If people really want to make
something of themselves, they should work on fixing up their own
country. Just because you don't like your house does not give you a
right to sneak into mine. We have a sickening national apathy on this
issue and we need to decide to handle it.

Bravo, Bill! I couldn't agree with you more!!! It's going to take people
like you and I actually getting involved to change this kind of idiotic stuff.

Bill,
You left out one very important part . . . John already pretty much said
it . . . just enforce the laws we already have against hiring them. Why do
we look the other way on this? (rhetorical question . . .we know why, but
it's gotta stop)

I actually cut and pasted this direct from Ron Paul's website. I wanted
to see what folk's reaction was before I posted the author.
I'm liking that guy.

That is exactly why we need a third party candidate that is not bought and
paid for by the corporations and the foreign governments. We also need to
throw the two party House and Senate out on there asses too. They all need
to go. We need people that are in it for WE THE PEOPLE. It takes uniting,
it takes faith, it takes courage. It takes, not saying there is nothing
we can do about it. We as a people can do some thing to change it. Too
many people are brainwashed by unions, and the media. They vote how they
are told, and just like good little voters we keep voting in the lesser of
two evils. Come on we can get better people than we have had up for election
in recent years. Everybody knows it, but are too afraid, so they stick to
the party lines. We keep getting the same fighting, incompetent assholes
running the country. It's time for a real change, and I don't mean Hillary
Clinton either.
