ok, now I created an iso image of the DVD, because the quality is already not so enourmous and with the conversion to avi it gets not nice. the image has 4,5 gb, where could i upload this?

Okey now I have the whole DVD encoded in h.24353-ish, every chapter separately in a low video quality, the audio however is 128kb/s stereo aac, so not that bad.

The reason for the low video quality is that my DVD (which is probably a rip) already has not so good video quality, the difference between my DVD and the encoded files is not that big, so I think it is forgivable.
The last digit before the .mkv file extension is the chapter number.

(Pro tipp: Use VLC Player and stack all the videos in a play list, in the right order of course)

Micha - I clicked on your link, but dropbox is giving me a 404 error, so you must have removed it. Do you still have the files? I'm desperate to find a copy, pronto. Would you be willing to repost it if so?

dankeschön!!

Hey Matt! Yes I removed them, because I needed the space on dropbox.

The thing is I don´t have an internet connection at home at themoment but I try to find an opportunity to drop you the files as soon as I can. Greetings from germany Wink

I'd be happy to pay for the shipping for a physical copy of the DVD if you're willing to send it. (I'd prefer to have it full quality in any case.)

That is, unless someone knows where I can buy an original copy of the DVD...

Haha, Ich spreche nur ein bisschen Deutsch. Or maybe just enough to get myself in trouble, lol. Wink

No worries about the delay - it couldn't have come at a better time. I flew a mixer (who had no prior experience with PARIS) in yesterday to mix our new album (100% PARIS-born and -bred, btw), and thanks to what I learned from the DVD (and him reading the entire PARIS manual front-to-back... twice!), we were able to get him completely up and running in less than an hour.

The quality is fine - a little blocky on some of the screen close-ups, but overall more than good enough for me to learn what I need to know.

Can't say it enough, Ein herzliches Dankeschön!!

Hi. If anyone could re-upload the DVD images to a Dropbox, I'd be much appreciative. I realize the Vimeo is out there, but would still like to have a DVD set. Thanks.
