Hi Ced,

Are you getting this messages when Paris starts up or just when you open
a project?

Het Terry...I get this on opening a project, Also, I've done re-boots,
pulled and reset cards etc. Otherwise, Paris opens up as normal....I also
get no "sample rate" light showing........ "Terry Thomas" <god1stjt@alltel.net>

Hi Ced,

This normally happens when: (1)The power goes out and you're running dual
monitors but the settings show up on just one monitor (2)When you originally
did this project you were using only 1 Mec. You just need to reset your Patch
Bay configuration.

Hey Ced,

Check with Mike Audet or Aaron Allen on this problem. Sometime if you have
two Mec Interface in the Patching area configurated (like A&B) and you save
it; but, you are really only using "A" then you will get this message.

well....I'm going to reply to my own call for help...Steve "Artguy" generously
lent me his gear in order to troubleshoot by item....problem seems to be
in the EDS 1000 card, don't know what the problem is exactly as everything
works except the MEC is not found in the patch bay , but replacing my card
has the system up and running again. Any follow-up ideas will be welcome.

bummer, Ced-

maybe it can be repaired... maybe a new (used) one would be cheaper.

It's likely that you have a bent pin somewhere on the EDS at the SCSI 50 pin
connection. Inspect it _carefully_ for any bent or broken connections.
