Ordered two of the SRC2496 units. Both died today, within about 15 minutes
of each other.

Got' em from MF. They are still in the 45 day return period.

They serve a valid purpose around here so I'm going to just get these
replaced, get an extra one and buy the extended MF warranty on these.

I'm morbidly fascinated by Behringer gear at this point.
