Guys, I'm considering an 8 out card for the extra 4 bits.
Is the difference that noticeable on monitoring? I do run my mixes out into
a 1968 and back in to paris, I also wonder how much I am missing here with
out that 8 out card.

Yes I would say it makes a difference. The sort-of-standard line on this
is that
it's important for the things you add to the mix: reverbs; compressors &
EQs
etc
