Hi,
I think though that someone could build a VST plugin that could work as delay
compensator.
That plugin could be loaded on every Paris audio track say at the bottom
VST slot so every vst added on any audio track would "inform" all vst instances
for the delay it introduces so that plugin
would delay all other tracks for the amount needed.
For instance say that a DX Waves rencomp gives a 64 samples latency.
So this plugin will recognise that (all plugins send timing info) and would
delay all "other" instances to automatically get delayed for that amount.
Now lets say you put another rencomp on another track, so the "plugin" on
that track would inform all others to get delayed for another 64 samples
etc...

I would like to be a VST plugin because most are VST, UAD1 are ONLY vst from
now on...
This way working from inside chainer we can have all the added benefits...

Anyone wants to do it ?

I have the "code" from multifxvst wrapper !
Maybe that could help?

Regards,
Dimitrios
Maybe that more easy to do and would get paid a lot less than the above amount
of money.
If I had the programming skills thats what I would do.
Anyone knows programming ?
I could give him more details about my idea...

If someone could do that, Paris would be SO much better. And I know DJ alone
would pay up to $20,000 for it. He's rolling in dough. hehe

Isn't that what(and how) the UAD-1 Delay Compensator Plug-in WAS SUPPOSED
to be used for....maybe trying to get to the bottom of that would be a place
to start in making something work in PARIS????

Ye right,
Well the delay compensator from UAD1 is a do it b thing.
Something like that which will react automatically though when inserting
any vst effect.
There is a free program called vstspy which when run detects the actual latency
of the vst plugins and not only ,many many more info about each vst !

So there is definetely a possibility to take this further making it a vst
plugin itself and then reacting by putting just a delay of the corresponding
samples.

Dimitrios
