Roundabout - Yes - Fragile. Has deep significant meaning to me.

For example: "We stand to lose all time a thousand answers by in our hand"

Yeah... deep, meaningful resonance.

Uhhh... I got no idea what any of that means.

Dubya,
I read that Jon Anderson wrote lyrics for the sound of the words not =
specifically their meaning.
Makes sense why it doesn't make sense.

"Reach Out I'll Be There", by Four Tops
"In MY Life", by John Lennon
Not the best lyrically but I think we can all relate to, "Standing In The
Shadows Of Love", by the Four Tops

Just a few of the top of my head.

Yeah, when it comes to Newman, at the moment, "Drop the Big One Now" really
warms my heart.

WOW.........this was on the air during what was (at least so far) one of the
saddest times in my whole life. Every time I hear it I can look back on that
time and know that no matter what is happening, things are better now. It's
definitely a piece of music with meaning.
Didn't Joe Meek produce this song?

;o)

So he didn't build microphones??? ;o) (doh!)..........OK then, how about
Dynamo Hum by Zappa? That's a meaningful song. At one time I figured this
would be right up there with Happy Birthday.

This one gets me every time. It's a song called "Arrival" by my friend
Steve Thorngate:

You love me at your best
When all is quiet and our hearts are sound
And need me at your worst
To more than wait for you to come around

If the you whom I can trust
Is never closer--we just keep driving
Then who will hold your hand
If you feel restless while we're arriving?

I move towards everything
To try to meet you and here with air
And chip away at your desires
To move beyond me and settle elsewhere

At last, I am so vast
There is no elsewhere; you can't escape me
By contentment or defeat
You can breathe easy; the air contains me

And I can just love you
With all my oceans and limestone canyons
My movements and schools of thought
Will all be channeled to give you more

Yeah, it's true... and that's exactly what Wakeman told me.

Dubya,
I read that Jon Anderson wrote lyrics for the sound of the words not
specifically their meaning.
Makes sense why it doesn't make sense.
My 2 sense,
Tom

Dubya,
I should say so! One of my favorite bands of all time.
Right up there with Zeppelin. Saw 'em both and really
like Yes much better in the arena rock environment.
