Hey can the cracked paris.exe be given out yet or is Edmund still trying to
make money off of doing nothing and providing no support ?

That was probably rhetorical, but nope - still illegal.

I'd wager probably much more so now, given the tightening of software
laws, with much higher fines and serious jail time on the table for
distributing it. I very much doubt that ID is interested in pursuing
people about it, but if it unlocks PACE-protected apps in general then
PACE/Interlok sure might - and they aren't someone you'd want to mess
with.

No...it's just a cracked .exe file for Paris, not a general Pace crack

It seems Edmund is thinking with his braincells on something new based
on old Paris 3.0, since "There's new products coming "soon"", as
allready showed up for over a half year without anything new happened
at all at ID's "new" website, that's just a link to their old site
from 2002;-)

They have something else in mind. This went up on the site within the
last couple of months:

Look for the digital incarnation of the famous Marshall Time Modulator
in plug-in format, coming soon to your favorite production environment.

One thing to remember, it wasn't just ID who owned the software. Even if ID
wanted to give the app away (and I suspect they would) it's likely their
lawyers would say they would have to clear that with whatever entity now
owns the Imaginary Property that Ensoniq et al brought to the table.
