Tom,
After you have edited your Pairs .cfg file to add the line =
"UseHouseSync=3D1" (no quotes), save this and reboot your computer.
1. Get the 442 completely out of the equation. Forget about using it =
ever again in a multicard setup. It's just going to make your life =
miserable.
2. Connect the three MECs to the Lucid clock outputs with cables of =
equal length, connect the MEC on card A to clock output #1, Mec on card =
B to output #2, etc.........I don't know why, but this is what worked =
for me.......then ((very important) set the Lucid clock to 44.1KHz =
sample rate (if that's what you're using)
3. Boot Paris from the Paris.exe in the C\Program files\EMU\Paris folder
4. Set the project to 48KHz and save it back to the same folder under =
the name "Default Project" (no quotes).
5. Save it again to the desktop under the same name.
6. Reboot your computer and launch Paris from the icon on your desktop. =
Do not ever change the sample rate of your Default Project. Leave it at =
48KHz. You will be able to open all of your old 44.1 projects or create =
new 44.1 projects from this one once Paris has booted and fully =
initialized.

I was more stable than ever before with Lucid WC,
2 MECs and one 442. Never crashed once. I added
a third MEC and that was okay but it's in/outs weren't
functional. I tried it in a different position and ever since
then I get this after Paris has gotten to the EDS/DX effects
part of the start up.
Unhandled Exception:c00000005
at address: 77c35ea
I tried removing the last MEC and putting it in the last working =
position.
All I get is this error and can't boot up Paris.
Last working configuration:
Submix A MEC
Submix B 442
Submix C MEC (no working audio)
Submix E MEC
I tried swapping hardware between Submix B and C and that's when the =
trouble began.
I also reseated the eds cards and their cables.
Is it possible it's an effect? I have added nothing new in months and =
it was very stable.
Maybe a defective default project?
I'll try another one to boot from that happens to be at 48k.

Tom,
It looks like a "having a 442 in a multiMEC setup" issue. If removing =
the 442 and setting up things exactly as I described doesn't work, =
remove the third MEC (the one I sen you) and try your original =
configuration again. That MEC was working perfectly as MEC #3 in a x 4 =
MEC Paris rig before I tore it down. All I/O (including the clock I/O =
were functioning perfectly. You do have the MEC BNC outputs terminated =
with 75ohm caps, don't you?

Ya terminated for sure. To try the original setup
with my mobo means WC in series to mec A
then to mec B. Silly but that's the only way it worked.
David has the same issue with this ASUS mobo and a Lucid.
Never a dull moment here in Paris on 4rth of July.

What is you motherboard. You have 3 eds cards? IRQ conflicts are =

with 3 cards. You may need a magma for that many cards. I think =
