I think I've seen the Wireline handle on the Sam forums.
I do use Sam 8, but truthfully, I just upgraded from SX to Cubase 4
(I've used Cubase since the original Atari version) and I am now
switching away from Sam for future multitrack work. It's a powerful
program, but the MIDI has never worked reliably, and I always seem to be
frustrated at the unintuitiveness of the GUI. They don't have the
development budget of the bigger companies, and I'm tired of the kludged
together feeling the program has. They add powerful features then don't
finish the interface or they leave nagging little bugs requiring
cautious use or odd workarounds. Perhaps it's from my long relationship
with Cubase that I feel more conmfortable there, but I never felt
uncomfortable with PARIS or ProTools or Logic.
Anyway, Wireline, we speak freely, but amicably here, as long as you
don't start talking politics or Mac vs PC, in which case, to quote Bill
Murray, "Jane, you ignorant slut..."
