So-
I've been sharing Logic with my Nephew, up until now when I decided to buy
in
with Logic 8.
Thing is- in Toronto nobody has the full (non upgrade) version in stock.
The 3
Apple stores have sold out 3 shipments, and don't know when they'd get more,
and
all the MI stores haven't received the full version yet. But - they all have
Express 8
and the Pro 8 Bundle upgrade.
Out of 6 stores I spoke with, only the Apple Store guys told me to just buy
Express
8 and the Bundle 8 upgrade and install the Pro Bundle over Express. So I
got the
full deal, I got it now and I got it for $1 cheaper.
Express $199 + Pro upgrade $299 = $498
Pro standalone = $499
You'd think the MI stores would be smarter wouldn't you?
