I have Paris 3.0 authorized on one computer Im trying to Authorize a second
computer but it wont authorize .the first computer was running Sys 9.1 and
its good.the second computer only runs sys 9.2 could this be my problem.
Paris runs in 9.2 but it wont authorize I type in the reponse and nothing
happens
Its been ten years since I authorized the first computer maby I have forgot
something'

Need HELP

Hi Clifford,

The challenge/response is unique for each computer. You'll need to send the
challenge strings from your new computer to Intelligent Devices for the response
codes. I had to do this when I upgraded to a G4 machine.

I think their email address is "support@intdevices.com".

What I have done is use carbon copy cloner on the 2nd computer to clone the
1st one. Then there is no need to get a new response code.
I don't get a lot of time to surf the NG so if you have a question, you may
want to just e-mail me.

Don't think that's legal bro? Each computer has it's own challenge/response
and license.

Yeah, and expecially since 3.0 auths have to be tied to a specific EDS card...

If that copy of 3.0 came with a card, yes.. however, a separate purchase of
the software can be moved about freely.
