I don't know what part you'd replace that with - someone with a broken C16 out there want to take it apart and see what it is? But I do know that C16s are about $50 now, with some people just giving them away on occasion, so it's probably going to be cheap enough to just source a replacement on the classifieds.

every Analog pot has got the Ohm-Range at backside. U can buy new ones of your needs, in partshop arround the world. If you don't know how much Ohm you that damegeg one has got, get a Ohm leveler and try to turn the Poti clockwise till the end. Then you can read out on leveler, how many Ohm it has got.
