I read an article over the summer by an american engineer who was invited
over to Australia to review the Fairlight. As he reviewed it, he started
getting critical of this and that and making recommendations. To his
astonishment, they tweaked the board for him right then and there until he
couldn't complain anymore.
Now that's something special. I'd love to own one of these systems, but I
think I'd be happier with a Neve Capricorn. Like me, it's 20 bit and
discontinued.
