Richie Furay, founder of Buffalo Springfield and Poco
has released his first secular CD in many, many years
called "Heartbeat of Love". It features a stellar band
of studio players from Nashville, and has lots of guests
including Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Timothy B. Schmitt,
Kenny Loggins, Paul Cotton, Rusty Young, Jim Horn and others.
I had the honor of recording, mixing and co-producing the
record. It was tracked at Quad Studios in Nashville (where
"Harvest" and many other classic records were done) into
ProTools, but all of the overdubs and the mix were done in
Paris here in Colorado.
If you are a fan of classic Southern Cal country rock, you'll
