Tyrone,
I've got my entire studio cabled with Mogami (well, with the exception of
some Canare digital cabling). I like it too. I bought a bunch of Mogami
cabling and connectors thinking I'd just roll my own whenever I needed but
by the time all was said and done, if time is money, I found it just as cost
effective to buy them custom built to my spec. The best prices and service I
have found was a company called New York Pro Audio. They do beautiful work
at very competitive prices. They are *very* good to work with as well. At
one point I had ordered some cables and then some things changed and I
e-mailed them and told them of the change. No problem. Even thought they had
already custom built 8 AES cables to my specified length, they let me change
my order to a totally different situation, didn't charge me for the work
they had already done and had the new cables out the door that afternoon.
Highly recommended.

Hey Tyrone,
I bought Mogami and wired a 396 point (balanced and normalled
between rack units to achieve mic line in -- mic pre in -- paris in) =
myself.
Of course they can be inserted to grab choice compressors. No punch =
block.
Great sound and reduced my noise floor. =20
I don't recommend you do it yourself. I got my share of toxins during =
that=20
three week period. I think it was worth it. But I haven't been =
thinking straight=20
since then . . .
