In '78, it was. EVH was the bomb, a marvel and a mystery. Diamond Dave was a
side attraction next to him, but the band was on fire. Somewhere along the
way the egos and the money destroyed 'em. Michael Anthony seems to be the
only one left with any sense out of the whole lot, unless you count Cherone
( and I don't - VH III was a terrible mistake that technically *should* have
worked ) who at least appears to have a life.
