Hello guys!
I finally picked one Paris system (the PCI card and the MEC). Unfortunately the guy got it from some studio saleout and it came without any software.
I'm planning to purchase XP driver from Mike Audet as well as some effects (from that page).
Also do i need some other software? I believe i read somewhere about some "Sub" program, though no idea on what it is.
Only reason i bought Paris was reading some of your comments regarding its sonic quality. Also read comments from pro's and how they liked it way much more than the Pro Tools sound.
Help a brother.

I have a copy of PARIS 3.o and the effects system update here:
www.ensoniq.ca/paris3installer.zip
This installer will give you a 7 day trial. You can buy a copy of paris 3 from East Coast Music Mall. Their address is here:
http://www.eastcoastmusicmall.com/
Just ask for for Morgan.
From what I've heard, buying PARIS 3.0 can be a bit of a pain, but if you want to own it legitimately, it is the only way to get it that I know of.
I wish the price of the PARIS software would come down, but I don't think ID has any interest in doing so. For what it's worth, I couldn't live without PARIS 3. The fader grouping and the stackable effects the effect busses are essential as far as I'm concerned.
I hope this helps.
Mike
