We're got a guy who is living in a Winnebago on the property right now..a
friend of a friend ....(shit like this happens all the time in
Colorado....people will camp anywhere in the summer)....we just call him
DuPree. He bought a used, full sized refrigerator yesterday and has it
hooked into the power grid. It is sitting outside his Winnebago, next to a
tree. I can't wait until he goes grocery shipping and Mr. Bear gets a whiff
of the goodies inside..........and it also ought to be interesting when the
rains start and this big electrical appliance is sitting out in the mud,
becoming one with the "ground". He also has a couple of cats that he just
lets roam around outside. If they come in our back yard they will be greeted
warmly by Crash and Muffin.. If they go the other direction they are right
in the middle of "Pet Cemetery Road"...and then again, there are coyotes
around here...............and bears. I feel sorry for these kitties. I hope
they survive their vacation.

You don't want to get between a bear and food, or a bear and cubs. They
get testy and can do real damage, even a brown bear. Strong and well
armed animals...
