The Digital Noise appears at startupsequenz of Computer when booting win XP.
I tried a lot, but i cannot stop Digital Noise. I located this digital Noise by Ensoiq Paris Sytem.
When i turned off Channels of Mixer (yamaha 03d ) where Paris is connected the digital Noise disappears.
I approved following steps :
- Deinstall all Fans(pull of wires of mainboard).
- Deinstall 4 HDD Raid 0,1 System and Install SSD Raid System.
- Change Power Supply.
- Deinstall RME 9632 Audiointerface by Pull of card from mainboard.
- Deinstall UAD 2 SOLO by Pull of card from mainboard.
- latest Bios Update.
- Install 50$ scherzo Driver.
- Run Paris 2.1
My Paris Setup is :
- EDS 1000 Card
- MEC
- 16C
- 8 Input Card
- 8 Output Card
OS Win XP SP 3 latest Updates.
Driver all latest Updates.
On Board Sound is off.
Used On Board Parallel Port, Lan, Grafic, USB, RAID Controller.
When i start the Parissoftware, Digital Noise will disappers. The Digital Noise appears at that moment if you do internal Routing for example: Routing of externel Effects.
Example of my patchbarouting can see it the following Picture. It will appears , when i am routing over Mec Module A 8 Input Card or MEC Master (A/D)too.
It doesn't appears when digital routing by example SPDIF In/Out is used.
Patchbarouting when Digital Noise appears :

- Asus Z97-C, LGA 1150
- Intel i5 2320
- 32GB RAM
- 4x Seagate Barracuda 750GB
- Win10 64 bit

All connection are balanced at my setup. I discover another secret of the Digital world.
Let me explain :
I have got to motherboard of Asus. One wit triple core and the other with Quad core CPUs.
The newest board ( quadcore) god a software wich calibrate the cores of CPU ( AMD Phenom IIx4). After the core was calibrated, the most of digital Noise disapears. By Second Step i shut down the USB Ports, make a big thing of noise.
At least i have to change the Power supply, because there is a noise of AC, thx for first odler Noise Threat where i read that.
I will tell you if i know if it is works.
Now the new Problem is :
The paris Software 2.1, 2.2, an 3.0 don't run on my computer.
Software Paris 2.1, 2.2 Says : Error initializing Paris Engine code 1/1.
Software Paris 3.0 : I klick it, but do not start.

Digital noise makes me angry now.
Try to use 3 different boards.
Asus M3N78-VM
Asus p5....
Gigabyte Z68x-UD3h-b3 , Win 7 32 bit, CPU i5 2320
At gigabyte only used 1 Core of CPU. USB 3.0 is Disabled.
But this terrible noise is following me at start of Computer.
So at last step to check Paris Hardware, i went under roof and use it in an very old PC. Dust and death spiders comes out of case when i opend it .
I pluged in the EDS Card and when it run i can't hear any noise.
I believe the fast multicore CPUs send out this digital noise.
My point of view is, Paris will die by highspeedmachines and for professional recording is it unusable.
I dont like to give up, but i dont know what i can do against digital noise !
No one there to keep my system alive ?

Last step and it works. Try a third powersupply. EDS cards makes stable digital noise.
But AC noise disapears in this configuration.
Configuration of Hardware:
- EDS 1000 Card on PCI Slot 2
- Paris 3.0
- scherzodriver for dual core
- gigabyte mobo used type of this thread.
- i5 2320 quad core
- 4 gb kingston value ram
- powersupply : be quiet 450W
- mobo Gigabyte Z68x-UD3h-b3
Bios Configurations :
- Multicore off, runs only as one kernel cpu
- usb 3.0 off
- usb harddrivesupport off
- Ram lowest speed
- onboard sound off
It looks great Paris 3.0. But the DSP FXs don't run. I will look into this whole great forum for help, this threat would be only "digital Noise" Threat !
