the mistake of giving my "friends
and family" rate to a client who was neither - just an old acquaintance
with a hard luck story (to make it even more "doh" - one I'd even heard
rumours about).

After an astonishingly abusive, out-of-the-blue email I received from
them about scheduling (I forwarded it to my colleagues, who said
"WTF???"), I'd sent the client this reply: "the data CDs of your
sessions are in a black plastic garbage bag out on my lawn underneath
the studio window. I'd come get them soon if I were you; it looks like
it's going to rain".

They sent a cab.

about this a while back and if there is an issue with it that I can't deal
with, I will be sending it to him for a good going over and a clean bill
of health before I put it on the market. I will personally guarantee this
unit to be free of any issues and sonically wonderful when the buyer receives
it. The reason I'm selling this is because I need some pres with a bit different
color and feature set for tracking drums. I'm going to be looking at options
along the lines of RND Porticos, API 3124, a UA 4110 or delve into the lunchbox
moneypit.

I'm thinking $2000.00 for six channels of truly hi fi wonderfulness or I
would talk trade plus/minus $$ for some of the products shown above.

I'll get some pics up here over the weekend once I've got it unracked. It's
truly a work of art under the bonnet.

I know I'll be kicking m

and spent most of th
