I just recabled my digital matrix. I have patched my three Digipatch units
together with optical cable and I am having success passsing digital signals
from my RME spdif I/O which are patched into unit 3 to the Paris spdif I/O
patched into unit 1.

I am not having success passing signal from my RME spdif output on unit 3 to
my DAC-1 on unit 2. I have tried it using both coax and optical cable to the
DAC-1. The DAC-1 works just fine on the Digipatch when receiving signals
from devices that are patched into the same unit, but not across units.
Sorta' strange.

Tomorrow I'm going to be trying to patch the I/O of a Mytek stereo96 ADC and
a stereo96 DAC from unit 3 to unit 1 and also I will be doing the same with
a Flying Cow on unit 2, trying to pass signal to the spdif I/O of a MEC on
unit 1 and to the RME spdif I/O on unit 3.

I hope that this crosspatching problem I'm having with the DAC-1 doesn't
somehow rear it's ugly head with the Mytek converters and the Cow. I have
some pretty ambitious plans for this matrix if I can get it to work. If I
can't get it to work, I may have to sell these Digipatch units off and check
out the FriendChip digital patchbays. Hopefully I can squeeze just a little
more usefulness out of these Digipatch units. There is a lot about them to
like.
