i guess the paste didn't stick and i deleted the original. it was
about an old dude who always wanted to go up in an airplane at the
county to $10 dollars but it wife thought it was too much to spend
saying "$10 dollars is $10 dollars". every year they would go to the
fair and he would ask about the flying thing and her reply was always
the same "$10 dollars is $10 dollars". so one year he tells her that
he is 76 years old and he's probably running out of time.
this time the pilot of the plane overhears their conversation and
makes this offer. "i'll take you both up for free if neither one of
you says a word during the flight. if you say one word i'll charge
you the $10 dollars". the couple agree and he takes them up. while
flying he does every trick he knows and nothing, not a word from
either. so he does each maneuver again with the same results, silence
so he lands the plane. with he and the old man standing face to face
the pilot says "i tried everything i could to scare the two of you and
nothing so i guess the ride is free but how did the both of you stay
so quiet. the old man replied "i almost did yell when we flew upside
down the first time and my wife fell out but $10 dollars is $10
dollars".
