This report was not issued by the EPW as a whole. It was issued by the office
of the GOP Ranking Member, Jim Inhofe ( R ) Oklahoma who has been one of
the leading ( and well funded) opponents of environmental issues for years.

And OJ�s dream team managed to find 5 prominent Forensic Pathologists that
all said he could not have possibly committed the murder.

I guess OJ is innocent.

I just wish someone would make up our minds so we could get this over with.
I'm getting soooo paranoid about thinking about stuff. There are legions of
seething, silent scientists (say that fast 3 times ) who are chompin' at
the bit to come out of the closet (it says so, right there in the article),
but who know that if they do, they won't get dates with hot hippie chicks.
Me???"...well heck, I knew global warming was a fact the minute Dennis Quaid
said it was. It all starts with a cold snap too and we are having a doozy
here..........and tomorrow the asteroid is gonna hit, I'll betcha.

I'm so depressed and I've got a session starting at noon. I can barely bring
myself boot my computer. What if I flip the switch and something happens?

There's lots of money to made advocating man made climate change as well.
James Hansen, the leading advocate of the anthropogenic global warming
hypothesis, has received 750k in "awards" from 2 left/liberal foundations,
one headed by Teresa Heinz Kerry. The Heinz award of 250k occured during the
presidential race after which Hansen came out strongly against the Bush
administration. The global warming advocates don't seem to have a problem
with Hansen yet do have problems with scientists like Richard Lindzen who
has done consulting for Exxon. Lindzen has charged Exxon $2,500 a day for
consulting. Al Gore gets 100k a pop for his speeches and has started
companies selling "carbon credits" which is completely bogus IMHO yet he's
beyond criticism.

(btw......I haven't had enough coffee yet today in order to think
independently so I cut and pasteed this comment form a thread on another
blog.........but I should agree with it, shouldn't I?.)

(I'm not directing this towards you James, I appreciate the link.) My personal
thoughts are: who CARES if global warming is man made? Well, I guess it
matters in the sense that if you knew that global warming was caused by humans,
you might try and titravate the system so that we'd stop emitting all those
pollutants. But, sheesh, there's LOTS of good reasons to do so besides global
warming. I believe a more important question is: is global warming happening
and what are the probable consequences. As I understand it, the scientific
consensus is that the global temparture is rising, and will (most probably)
have significant consequences.

Yes, it's a myth that the north pole is water now. It's all been faked by
the liberal media, just like the moon landing. It's a myth that countries
are now scrambling to claim territory in the polar area that has been
nothing but ice for centuries.

Have you ever heard James Inhofe speak? I won't call him and idiot (I
promised DC), but let's just say I don't think he's playing with a full
deck. Brick shy of a load. Elevator doesn't go to the top floor. Did I
leave anything out?
