Hi DJ,
I presume that without Paris you use the Cubase mixer to sum the
tracks and also the Cubase mixer Master 2-track out into your D/A
hardware. Have you found any loss of space/air/quality now Paris
is gone. It was said that Paris summing brought a spacious quality
to the mix etc ... (?) Using RME hardware one has the use of
TotalMix. Is there any advantage to taking individual Cubase mixer
tracks into TotalMix and summing there? TotalMix is s/w right? -
no mixing hardware on e.g. 9652s ... so it would be a question
of who has the best summing algorithms(?). I guess bottom line
is whether there is any advantage to using Paris as a summing
mixer to Cubase. TIA,
