Anyone familiar with these machines? Aaron, DJ? You guys are tech
whizzes.... help. I just picked one up and have a few questions about the
RAID controllers and drive compatibility. Win XP will be installed on this
machine. I am familiar with the specific SCSI U160 and U320 drives which
will work in the system, however:

The multiple hot swap bay is installed, but is there any other hardware I
need besides the SCSI card?
I need to know if a U320 drive has the same pin footprint as the U160?
Can I use these drives interchangeably with the same SCSI RAID card?
Or once I install a U320 RAID card can I only use U320 drives?
If I install a U160 RAID card can I use both U160 and U320 drives?
What software would I need to enable the RAID system to function?

Thanks,
Rich

Rich,

I'm not familiar with this machine, but as far as software for the RAID
array, the card should provide drivers and a RAID utility to configure the
drives.

Yes..Forget the scsi.. Either use
