Ive done the config file bit( UseHousesync=1) opened up Paris from within
the folder so I can change it to wordclock and then save as a default file.
i get a lashing red sync
in the project window and all my cards on the MEC keep flashing red.
Sometimes I cant load Paris as I get the message :engine cant etc check leads."
I then take the string out of the config file and it loads up. I try to change
to word clock and I get flashing red sync plus cards flash. Ive tried it
with Big Beb in off, on without and i cant change to word clock ,both MEC's
flash. ive reinstalled paris twice. Has anyone had the wordclock input ever
fail on a MEC
Hope someone can help
Hank

"both MEC's"... you realize you only need the house sync line if you
have three or more MEC's right??? Do yourself a favour, remove the
line in the config file, feed external clock the the first MEC, loop
to the second and be done. Simply set the project to word clock
sync... we've been doing it that way for years with "0" trouble.

If you are using an external WC and your default project is not set to
48KHz, then you will never achieve reliable sync. You have to do
this......or you will die.

Hmmm.....I dunno. I could never achieve reliable sync unless I went with the
48k setting in the project.
