Hi James,
Yes prise dependent this can be a very cool option for small venues and churches.
Been trying to get some pricing on it.
If it's over $2k then not sure how viable this will really be but we'll see.

They quoted me $2.5K. Seemed like they had been getting some negative feedback
at the show, about the price, however, so they're considering repricing.
We'll see.

I was also told that there were tentative plans for ADAT I/O.

Looks promising, overall.

Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul,

There are already quite a few computer based and even non computer based system that can do 24 tracks at that price point that work quite well.
With pretty much every one having a computer in either a desktop or laptop form that can already record 24 tracks and then some its gonna be a tough sell.
Most laptops and desktops have been able to record 24+ tracks for 5 years now. Computers in general have become far more reliable than in the past.
Well laptops can be a bit more hit or miss with that but thats mainly because of how fast things are changing on the laptop.
Right now there are already computer options that can give 24 channels of analog that will run in the 2k 2.5k range assuming some one already owns a computer.
If they can get it in the 2k or under range though I think they will appeal to less of a niche market.
Not like the Live sound recording market is a big niche anyways. :)
