Mike, Carl, I got up out of the chair and started boogying, nice
modulations, very cool augmented voicing at the end of the choral section,
which is a cool idea in itself. The wha wha banjo sound is nice and fat,
very original dudes. Is the wha wha sound the plug, or is it the modulation
or distortion?

Haha - thanks Rich. The *only* thing using Mike's plugin is that flat/dry
guitar on the right channel (of which I think sounds pretty good). It's been
years since I tracked this - but the "wha banjo" was something in which I
rigged a microphone into a wha wha pedal, and then to a preamp. To me, that
was the perfect neo-rodeo sound for the tune - wha wah banjo! :)

Love that wah wah banjo, man. So the guitar is using the plug in. It sounds
dry and natural, what exactly is the plug doing? I can't tell, sorry for
being so dense.

Yeah - the plugin is just simulating an amp - the guitar track was recorded
direct (first mix totally direct/dry), so you mainly notice what it's doing
in the intro, as the guitar track starts - you can A/B the mixes and hear
the difference.

Thanks Bill. We will self-release an EP sometime in the next few months. As
soon as I get the project mixed, I plan to do some web stuff promo. The
songs are all very different and... pretty off the wall, so it's pretty fun
to hear some of the feedback we get from it.
