A long time ago, I had taken advantage of the fancy-ass digital
printer/copier at work to print off the full Paris manual for both the
original OS and 2.x. Put 'em in nice, pretty binders with dividers
and shit like that.

Last winter, I stupidly left the hose on the faucet in my courtyard
and the faucet split. I was going to change it, but wasn't in a real
hurry because I knew not to turn the damn thing on.

Our condo handyman, however, didn't get that message, and when he came
around to power wash our fence and solarium, he hooked up to my
faucet. Didn't tell me he was coming or when he was going to be here.

So, I get home to discover an inch of water over most of my basement
floor.... and apparently, enough had seeped over to soak into the
bottom of all my manuals (I had also printed out the big-ass manual
for my Oasys card.... that was also a full 3" binder....). So, they
got ruined and all mildewed, so I had to pitch 'em.

However, I can't find the pdf's for the manuals now - where the hell
do I find them?

Oh - I fixed the damn faucet.

Good thing my basement isn't totally finished or I'd be really, really
pissed....

And, it looks like ID only has the manuals for 3.0 on their site...

That helps....

However, I'm running into a problem. They only refer to the C16 Pro,
which has an "auto" button that you're supposed to hit to turn
automation recording on.

I have the plain vanilla, old-timey C16 that doesn't have that
button...

But thanks for the link. Those are, I believe, the ones I had printed
out. I guess I'll just keep them electronically from now on, since I
don't have access to the fancy-ass printer anymore (55 pages per
minute, full duplex printing....) and I'm NOT going to print all those
pages out single-sided on my LaserJet 6mp. It will take a month....

Paul, I have one of the original manuals around here
somewhere... if you need a section copied out of it, let me
know (I assume that would be ok to do, since they're out of
publication), and I can mail the pages to you.
