Might be time to wrap the house in brass screen and wrap the pod in toilet
water. I've tried ferrite beads... they stay crunchy in milk but don't
taste too good.

P.S.... seriously, if this has been on ongoing problem and you live near a
radio tower or repeater, and it comes and goes (day vs night, cloudy vs
clear skies) and it is AM, not FM, you've got a costly fix in your future
and it's called a faraday cage. Cell phones will be worthless while
inside... that's how well they work. Google "faraday cage" and you're sure
to find an endless amount of info on the subject at hand.

OK, a coupla questions, Jeremy...
1.) ARE you using a single-coil guitar?
2.) Also, is it really a radio station? I mean could it be
a Ham operator in your neighborhood or something like that?
Yes, there are still people on the planet that haven't
discovered there's this new thing that Al Gore invented that
enables you to talk to people on the other side of the world
without the need for a 50-foot tall antenna in your backyard.
3.) Are you using a CRT monitor or and LCD one? If it's a CRT,
and you're playing guitar in front of your PC while micing an
amp in the other room, then it might be as simple as getting
farther back from your monitor or replacing it with an LCD one,
or going into the same room as your amp & using something like
the Frontier Design TranzPort to playback/punch/etc.

LOL.
luckily its not AM... its FM.... 95.5 in nashville.
pickups are humbuckers... and i have LCD's.
faraday cage... thinking about that as a fix makes me very light headed.
someone on gearslutz recommended ferrite beads.... no not animal parts.

My studio used to be in the vicinity of a bunch of broadcast towers on the
west side of Lake Austin. I would occasionally get RFI though mic cables.
Gotham starquad cured this.

I don't know if they make guitar cales or not, but unbalancing a mic cable
for mono would probably work.....though this might also increase potential
for noise.........arrrggghhhh!!!!!
