Hello all,
I have installed NI Battery and have been playing with it
in Cubase SX3.
I am getting clicks and clipping on the main bus.
I clicks when it triggers a sample.
It doesn't always clip the main bus, but it clicks all the time.
A limiter or volume adustment fixes the clipping, but I can not figure out
how to get rid of the clicks.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Brandon

What is the version Neil I forget?
I have 2gigs of ram with an AMD2+gig processor.
That should be enough right?
Where do I adjust the Buffer size?
Thanks,
b

It was version 1, wasn't it? And yeah, 2 gigs of RAM should be
plenty... I was running it on 1 Gig - try either the buffer
settings in Cubase (the recording settings in your device setup
menu), or in the driver for whatever interface youre using.

Yeah, try the buffer stuff first.
But I strongly recommend upgrading to the latest version. V1 caused all
kinds of problems here. I'm running on OSX though, which may have been a
factor at that time depending on how they were writing the core code
back then. But judging from the forum traffic at the time, a lot of
people were having problems with V1 and I don't think it was just on OSX.
Anyway, aside from being more solid, the new version has some very
worthwhile enhancements.
Cheers,
-Jamie
