Is Avid (magma MB) compatable with SBS host? [message #102582]

I have an Avid expansion chassis with a Magma MB in it - will a sbs host card
work with the Magma or? Thanks

I would not recommend it... contact Magma and get a replacement host
card from them.

I have the host for the Box wanted the card for the PC is that also called
a host or an expansion card or? Was not sure if the SBS and Magma are compatable
with each other? Thanks again!!

doubt it seriously that they are. Different companies, different
architectures would be a realistic expectation.

The "Host Interface Card" goes in the computer... the "Expansion
Interface Card" goes into the Magma chassis.
