Hey y'all,

I just intstalled Norton Ghost 10.0 and when I trie to make a back up to
my external drive I get 3 error messages, I can't find anything out on their
site.
I get EC8f1787
E780001
EBAB03F1
ANyone know what these are?

Have you tested the disk to see there isn't any problems with crossed linked
files etc., before ghosting? Ghost don't like these kind of things at all
and will show up with error messages. It's always a good idea to use Norton
Utilities, Scandisk or something similar program, to check and repair the
disk before ghosting.

It's also a good idea to make a Dos Ghost startup diskette and do the
ghostings in Dos, without any WindowsXP/ME/98 upstart at all. I had too
often error messages when trying to start Ghost inside Windows. You can make
the diskette from the Windows-installed Ghostprogram.

I'll second that. Ghost, outside of windows, is the way to go.
