I too, will be building another comp soon. But only for Paris.
Thus far I was set on the Gigabyte Ultra 939, but I have read
various posts about others having success with the Epox 9NDA3+,
and Asus A8v.
I take it that Dual core is a no go with Paris. (?).
Thanks for any clarity you guys could shed.

Download pdf versions of the Paris manual if you haven't done so, Joe.

Haven't used it for that, but the only problem I could see would be
having to take the computer, mic, etc to the piano. Seems like a
stand-alone tuner might be better if you do that a lot.

I very much agree with the idea of getting it right as I'm tracking. For
my ears, quality outboard is unbeatable. Ive never used a RNC. I can safely
say my records only got better when i stopped relying on the computer to
add vital colour to my sounds.

I re-installed nero, loaded a pat metheny dvd and bang. The same crash
happened.
So I took the nero off for the time being.
As long as I can work the way I did before I really don't care.
I'm emailing memorex to see if they have a remedy. If not,
I'lll return the new burner, and stick with IDE drives as backup for now.

I wish my upgrade had gone as easy as yours appears to be going.I kind of
jumped out on a limb as I was in a desperate situation on getting my system
back up and going so I let the local computer store talk me in to going with
a intel processor and msi board. At first it was really crazy but tonight
it looks like it is settling down and seems to be solid. Tomorrow I will
record tracks and push it around and see what happens. I am looking for a
Directx deesser plugin that will work with Paris. Anybody

>Statistical, I think it was from the late '90 years, it showed up in an
American examination that Mac users wasn't so good at school as PC
users!?!?. I don't know but maybe PC users loves to find solutions on
problems in the life where Mac users don't, because they don't want or know
how to find out any solutions on problems!?!? As said I don't know, just
speculations after I remembered reading the examination in a Swedish
computer magazine from the last century. As said one more time, I don't know
if it's true. You see, I don't want any problems with fanatic, Macreligious
users after writing this;-o)
