Well - not for me...

But the guy who mixed my band's last CD, Darryl Neudorf, is up (as co-producer and mixer) for Best Contemporary Folk Album with Neko Case - Middle Cyclone. The competition is Shawn Colvin, Tracy Chapman, Elvis Costello and Steve Earle.

Quite a list. Sunday night 8pm.

No. I tracked our CD in Paris and he mixed it in Logic, with externals, and bounced out the stems via a modded Neotek to Studer 2 track.

Neko's stuff was mostly tracked elsewhere, and mixed in Logic and through an SSL.

Also saw on Gantt Kushner's site that a CD he tracked and mixed was nominated for a
Grammy.

Very cool.

We should check in on him, I know he was a bit bummed back in Nov...
