Is it possible to send audio from one computer's ADAT out (e.g. Ableton Live with RME fireface) to the ADAT in on my MEC and then record/mix those tracks in PARIS?

I'm starting to get the feeling that I bought an ADAT card in vain, and that it only supports working with actual ADATs Sad

Hope I'm wrong....?
