I'm trying to get a skeletal version of my old PARIS system up and running. I am running 3.0, XP, with just one EDS card.
I am using the older (at the time) BETA XP drivers. I am unable to get past "Error Code 1/1"
The Scherzo driver does seem to show up in the device manager. I followed the prescribed order of installing the drivers, then PARIS, then the effects subsystem, with no success.

Any ideas?

One thing I CAN"T find, is the driver specific installation instruction sheet. THe hardware wizard is not geting invoked - the device just shows up after rebooting...

Heya Phil - try here or here for install info. The Bugs/Troubleshooting page just has one entry for 1/1, the rather unhelpful "hardware not found" - in my case it was literally trying to tell me there was a problem with my cable.

Going to be recording, or just trying to access some old PPJs?

Thanks for the links.

I'm "unarchiving" some projects for a friend of a friend. I was also going to render a bunch of my old stuff into wavs as long as I had PARIS up and running, but I am not having much luck. I have tried to do it from scratch numerous times, and am having no luck.
I tried both with an MEC and and IF2, in case one just had a bad cable. No dice. Removed all cards other than video and EDS. Nope. Changed slots. Nope. Maybe my card is bad - but it shows up in Device Manager as working perfectly.

I am toying with trying to put my PARIS card in my current main audio computer, but am reluctant to mess with it. Will do so in a pinch.....

I have a good friend with PARIS in the area, so I may just impose on him and get this done at his place.
