Posts made to the forum in the absence of the sync apparently won't make it to the NG, but everything that was posted to the NG in the interim has now been sync'd across to the forum.
What was it, you ask? Some complicated tech issue?
Oh, nothing really. Just my hosting service suddenly decided to restrict access to all ports below 1024 (the NG is on 119), blocking access without letting anyone know.
Grrrrr. Anyway - they've (apologetically) "whitelisted" the port for me, and we now return to our regularly scheduled programming.
