Paris on XP - High CPU Usage [message #84762]

Hey all. I thought I remembered a post on this, but my searches are
coming up short.

Has anyone seen the situation where Paris will _always_ be using 90%+ of
the CPU and machine is just a dog, even when not playing?

I'm not sure if it was something I installed earlier this year. I
haven't been able to use Paris the last couple of times I've needed it
so Garage Band and Vegas had to do in the pinch.

I think I may have an extra 20GB drive sitting around. I may just
reinstall a new WinXP and Paris minimals. However, I'd like to get this
drive working since it is my general multimedia setup.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
