what kind of cable is that anyway, that connects the eds card to the mec? some kind of scsi cable? scsi wide? scsi 2? 50 pin something or other--- and does anybody know where I can get 10 ft. of it? the original cable is only 6 ft., and that's a little too short for my situation. I need about 10 ft. of it--- thanks so much, if there's anybody who can help me out with that---

It is a 50 pin scsi 2 like you said. Most of the ones I use are left overs from mac scsi hard drive days. I dont know if there is a maximum length limit for Paris use. I have one that is close to 10 feet and it works fine
