I've been haranguing Angus about coming out with percussion instruments
since I first bought BFD years ago. Not only did he do it, but he did it an
a *huge* way and yes Neil, there is COWBELL!!!!!

I find that the more expensive they are, the more open their top end is. :-)

You're thinking of the DW Fearn cowbell. It's got a tube and costs $4k.

I was thinkin' more like Caddy and a crow bar, or perhaps Caddy and a padded

a stainless steel platter with the dipping bowl held in one hand then
struck against something hard (the head will do) makes a really good
percussive sound...tried it yesterday.
