You've been working all day and you know you're too fried to keep it up but
you want to get one more track done and you need to patch a preamp output to
an A/D converter and when you do this you get no signal, so you try another
preamp, and yet another and yet another and yet another and there is
absolutely no signal at all so you start wondering what kind of bizarre
voodoo would cause every preamp output connection in your patchbay to go
dead and then you go so far as to start to unrack your patchbay when it
occurs to you to try a different patch cable.......

G'nite all.........
