I have a five card, XP, 2 x MEC, 1 x 442 and a Lucid Word clock =
generator
that won't play nice. It was odd to begin with in that the WC cables
had to run in series from the Lucid to Mec A then Mec E in a simpler
configuration. David gave me that advise since he owns the same mobo=20
and hardware as I. =20
Symptoms:
It will play back projects in parallel wc mode with all five cards =
active. Bad news is it=20
won't allow any inputs except the first 16 on MEC A. All the others =
never show up in the=20
meters although their associated input lights on the modules light up. =20
When wc is in series I lose the EDS cards that are in between A and E =
(B, C & D) so no audio=20
plays off those cards but all hardware inputs work and print ! Huh? =
This is with or without
UseHouseSync=3D1 in the Paris config, with/without termination and I =
tried a multitude of=20
combinations of Mecs and 442s connected to different cards. Well, all =
but the 442 on Mec A=20
which is unacceptable anyway. It seems to like the 442 last in line =
with card E.
I'm at a loss for a solution at this time. Any suggestions? I'm =
thinking another Mec instead=20
of the 442 is all I can do. I plan to have four Mecs in total if I can =
get three going successfully.
I know Dimitrios was all over this months ago. He suggested Mecs =
instead of 442s.
Anyone else?
TIA,
Tom
