I have a feeling that there is going to be a new version of Logic released
soon. Maybe a new version of FCP, somethings up.

I under stand that it doesn't interest you, however there are some people
that still use Macs here that might be interested. I believe Jamie, LaMont,
Tony, Gantt, Gene, Nappy, DC, and others still use Macs.

Yes Final Cut server is geared towards Pro video. I also mentioned Logic.
A guy I know that is a Logic certified trainer just got back from Apple
and just sold me his personal copy of Logic 8 cheap, I'm thinking he knows
something. Next week is NAB. I wonder if they are going to combine everything
in to one package???

James, you basically post a linke to any press release Apple puts out. That's
fine, I don't really care, but Rick was wondering why this completely video-centric
link was posted. I explained. That's it.

As I said, nothing to see here folks, keep moving along . . .

if you bought his license he now will have to pay full price for a new
version. personally i think it's more apples lack of support along
with his possible knowledge that ther are no updates forthcoming in
the near future. remember i own both mac and logic pro.

I posted it because guys like Jamie and Tony use FCP and possibly others.
Yes, FCS is geared towards pro video. FCS is a media server, so it can serve
up audio content.

So rick, you comparing Apple to ID? Are we talking about Logic? It did
take Apple some time to get Logic to where it's at, but Logic Studio is pretty
incredible, especially for $499.00. Apple has a support page, free online
support, training materials and a discussion board. You can purchase unlimited
phone support for $399.00, which is not cheap, however, if you add it up,
$898.00 is still less than other DAW packages and you get unlimited phone
support.

But....
It's geared toward companies that have MANY networked copies of FCP so they
can access the same file across all machines.
