Awesome Neil. The mix sounds great. I'd be curious to hear what sorts of
changes you make to bring the mix to final form. The tune sounds great too.
My girlfriend likes it: if is passes the Laurie-test, you're golden.

Great stuff Neil!

I especially love the layered lead guitars. They sound *shiny*.

That's the word. Shiny.

Very nice.

Did you play everything?

Good music man.

Thanks Mike... I don't yet know what I'll change about the mix;
I need to live with it a while before I decide. Perhaps drop
the drums down quite a bit just to piss off Don Nafe :D

Seriously, though, I'm thinking the snare might possibly could
use a bit more "bang", but be a little lower in the mix after
that... maybe hats up a tiny bit. Just minor tweaks, really...
it's right in the ballpark, I think.

Thanks Don... the "shiny" guitars were pretty simple - Epiphone
Sheraton/Aphex Punch Factory/Sovtek Midget 50H/Celestion cab/
BLUE Ball/Grace 101, and then a VST delay on each track; 2 or 3
db of 3k boost on each track... nothing fancy, really.

And yeah, I played everything... well, I don't think what I do
with the drums could be called "playing", I have to do it in
sections, then there's definitely some editing going
on after that.

Don, that's not my real e-mail - it's just something that's easy
to type real fast with a couple of finger-rolling keystrokes
in order to block spammers/e-mail harvesters.

the real one is: neil DOT henderson AT sbcglobal DOT net
