I got my Paris rig up and running on an XP Media Center computer (ASUS =
A8M2N-LA, Athlon 64 3500+, 200GB, 512MB, Compaq SR2032X). I copied a =
project over to the new computer and everything seemed fine. After that =
I ripped some trax off an accompaniment CD to try and record something =
and make sure everything worked ok. I ripped them using Sound Forge 7.0 =
(just like I always did on my other computer) and I made sure the "save =
metadata with file" button was uncheck because I think I remember that =
causing me some problems in the past. Then when I try to import the =
ripped music into Paris I get an error. Then if you look in my record =
director there will be 2 .paf files (even if I set it to default to =
..wav). If I try to import these into Paris you can hear the files but =
Paris thinks they are 30 minutes long each. This would not be that big =
of a deal but I want it working right.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
