can't seem to get the plug to work since I re-installed Paris for some other
issues I was having.
Just a quick run through should suffice. Where do I put the wrapper, where
do I point the VST folder in Paris too...

please help, I'll send candy.

Hi Michael,

Copy all the UAD-1 plugs into the VST folder (make one if you don't see it)
in your Paris folder. Then go to the Project window and set your VST path
to that folder.

Thanks for the response Gantt. I did all that and no luck.
UAD folder into the VST folder, which is in the Paris folder.
Started up Paris, went to the project window and set the VST path. I then
re-booted Paris. Went to the song, clicked on Native and it's empty.

What am I doing wrong? I had it working before...

Hi Michael,

Don't copy the UAD-1 folder into the VST folder - take the plugins OUT of
the UAD-1 folder and copy them onto the Paris VST folder. I think putting
the entire UAD-1 folder into the VST folder hides the individual plugins
from Paris. What version of Powered Plugins are you using?

Gantt,
I took them out of the UAD-1 folder and put them in there alone to no avail.
I have the Studio Pak V.3.6.
Where should the wrapper be? Maybe that's something to do with it.

There's no 'wrapper' that I'm aware of. My UAD-1 plugins live in the VST
folder in the Paris folder. I go to the Project page, select "Select VST
Path" and choose the VST folder in the Paris folder and when I boot Paris
up they're there.

I must be doing something wrong, It's not seeing the UAD-1 card for some reason.

Thanks Gantt for the info, I'm sure it's something on my end that I'm not
doing correctly, if you think of anything else please let me know.

After the kids go to bed I'll look and see if I'm leaving anything out.

What version of Paris are you running? What Mac OS?

There's no need for a wrapper of any sort. UAD-vst plugs dragged, not copied,
directly into whatever folder you're using for vst plug-ins in Paris, which
needs to be in the same folder as your Paris app. I'm also running 9.2.2
on a G4...

Hi Ted,
Ok, wrapper is gone.
I'm dragging my "UAD-1 presets folder" into the Paris folder (thanks to Gantt
for that). Then I set the VST path to the UAD-1 folder. And still nothing.

If I am doing everything correct what could be a reason I'm not seeing the
UAD card?

Well, I got it. I was trying to use the Presets folder instead of the plugins
folder. Duh,

Thanks for the help Gantt and Ted. By the way, is there anyway of using the
presets yet on a Mac?

Thanks again,

Yeah,

I just read this post and thought "why is he draggin the presets folder
instead of...?"

As far as the presets go, no you can't use them automagically, but I spent

an hour or two opening them in another program (can't remember which one)
writing down the settings and them manually applying them in Paris,
then saving them in the Native effects Library, which worked fine.
